吴东魁，世界文化名人，世界文化交流伟大贡献奖得主，世界文化大使勋章获得者，2021中英双语版《世界名人录》荣誉顾问，中国当代著名国画家、鉴赏家、收藏家、教授，享受政府津贴的国画一级美术师，鲁西南画派创始人，出生于中国山东菏泽书画之乡、戏曲之乡、武术之乡、牡丹之都。现任中国吴东魁艺术馆名誉馆长、世界华人书画院院长、中国华夏画院院长。
      出版国画专著《吴东魁画选》、《吴东魁国画集》、《吴东魁花鸟作品集》等十余部；中国中央电视台先后为其拍摄《天高任鸟飞》、《吴东魁绘画艺术》、《李宁和他的国画老师吴东魁》、《吴东魁笔墨技法》等多部专题记录片。1989年5月在中国美术馆一楼大厅举办了个人画展，中国中央领导、美术界知名人士光临开幕式，中国中央电视台新闻联播播放90秒开幕盛况，在社会上引起轰动，在中南海、钓鱼台拥有专门画室，吴东魁应中央领导人的邀请创作多幅经典作品，作为国礼赠送多国元首。
      吴东魁先生是当今中国书画界一位顶天立地的艺术强者。在书画造诣上，用独特的思维、敏锐的眼光、深远的理想，博大的胸怀，诠释着他心目中的大千世界，创作出新时代绘画风格。

      活到老、画到老、捐到老，吴东魁的愿望是在有生之年捐建100所希望小学，目前已在全国捐助91所希望小学，为家乡修路、国家抗疫救灾、公安部英烈基金会、孤寡老人、贫困大学生等，共捐赠慈善资金6000多万元和价值 3000 多万元书画作品。大爱之举、慈善之情、温暖着大江南北，华夏神州。不愧为一代德艺双馨的书画大家！
        2006年投巨资创建“吴东魁艺术馆”。艺术馆长期免费对外开放，免费为社会各界人士提供交流平台，立足京城，惠及百姓，成为首都一道亮丽的风景。吴东魁先生的艺术成就得到了社会各界的广泛认可。瀚海拍卖、佳士德拍卖、太平洋拍卖都以较高的价位。得到收藏家的热捧。
